Eidos Architects raised more than $900 for Denver Public Schools Foundation and Denver Rescue Mission on Colorado Gives Day 2020
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.— December 9, 2020-
Yesterday, Eidos Architects raised more than $900 dollars during their first-ever Colorado Gives Day. The selected non-profits included Denver Public Schools Foundation and Denver Rescue Mission.
“Our team’s first year participating in Colorado Gives Day was a success!” Mae Ann Saas, Director of Client Relations at Eidos Architects said. “We are happy to be able to give back to two non-profits who are out there supporting their community.”
According to a release from Community First Foundation, Colorado Gives Day is an essential fundraising event that fuels their work year-round. This year, with COVID-19 forcing the cancellation of fundraising events and in-person gatherings, the virtual, online giving event triumphed to boost nonprofit fundraising efforts.
“Gifts made on Colorado Gives Day to the Denver Public Schools Foundation will impact students across DPS. DPS Foundation remains deeply committed to supporting both long and short-term solutions to help mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on the district, as well as our schools, educators, students and families,” Sara Hazel, who is the Vice President of Development at Denver Public Schools Foundation said. “Since the beginning of the pandemic, the inequities that students face in Denver have been amplified, and our work has focused on closing the equity gap through funding meals, schools supplies, and internet access. Closing the equity gap will continue to be our focus through the remainder of 2020 and beyond, as our goal is to help every student, in every school, have the tools and resources to reach their highest potential. We believe that Denver is strengthened by each student who graduates from our schools, ready to lead a bold and successful life. Thank you to Eidos for this partnership and support on Colorado Gives Day. Together, we can ensure that our students thrive.”
“We are so grateful for Eidos Architects’ support of Denver Rescue Mission through Colorado Gives Day,” Lisette Williams who is the Manager of Community Relations for Denver Rescue Mission said. “Eidos Architects’ generous gift will help provide vital and critical services to the poor, hungry and homeless we serve every day. Thank you Eidos Architects for the positive difference you have made in the lives of so many at Denver Rescue Mission!”
According to a release from Community First Foundation, a record-breaking $50,050,610 was raised for Colorado nonprofits in just 24 hours. More than 225,440 donations were made to 2,828 organizations. Of those donations, 1,363 individual fundraiser pages received donations, totaling more than $2.6 million.
